About Me

I've been interested in vintage radios - actually any early version of technology still used today (such as early electric lighting; telephones, etc). since I was a kid. I would collect old light bulbs, electrical componants, even telephone pole insulaters.  I found my first 'antique' radio - a Philco console from around 1930 - in an unused bedroom in my great-aunt's house when I was about 15. Once I had plugged it in and it fired right up (and didn't blow a fuse or burn the house down) I was hooked.

Other than that I am an architect.
